Forex trading has made is possible to achieve wealth in the market place of today. You have to be well-prepared. Forex education is the key to your success as you get started.
How to start forex trading : Step 1
The first thing you need is to pick up a copy of this forex book : Bird Watching In Lion Country and start reading, before you do anything else. It will help you gain an edge over most new traders coming into the market. Secondly, you will avoid huges losses that most traders experienced including myself, when they got started the wrong way. By the time you finish reading Bird Watching In Lion Country, you will be confident enough to get into the market knowing what you are doing. But it is absolutely crucial to your success to read this book. It is not the only book, but you don’t want to get overwhelmed with the load of information out there. Stick with just this one for now. As you begin to trade with confidence, knowing what you are doing, you can begin to learn additional information if need be.
How to start forex trading : Step 2
The second step is too open a free forex demo account. What is a free forex demo account? This is an account that you can start trading forex with virtual money. You will learn how to place your trades with this account. This is pretty the same forex trading platform you will be using when you invest real money into a real forex trading account. Some brokers allow you to trade for about 20 days or 30 days with a demo account and then you are required to open a live account. You don’t have too. You can always open a new free forex demo account. I like to open free forex demo accounts with brokers that have no limits. In this case you can trade your demo account for as long as you want. Open a free forex demo account here and you can trade with your demo account for as long as you want. I always recommend trading with a demo for at least 6 months. They also offer you a $20 free to trade for real, so as to get the feel of real trading. With six months of trade, you can see how you are holding up and how you are improving, as you read Bird Watching in Lion Country and implement the forex trading strategies you learn from it.
Step 3: Focus on completing steps 1 and steps 2 of how to start forex trading. Without doing anything else within your first six months, but focus on implementing what you learn in step 1 , with your demo account in step 2: You should become very confident in pulling out profits from the market.
